i went to the zoo with my family yesterday.. how long has it been since i've stepped foot in there. not longer than my parents and my bro though. i think it's about... 2 years?

well i was talking to the nsguy the night before and he was telling me damn racists jokes. that are actually quite funny but extremely degrading. oh well. went to bed round 1130

then i woke up i-have-no-idea-what-time and we tuo-ed shi jian before going to eat 'breakfast' and then heading to the zoo.

i fell asleep in the car. but oh well. reached there like 10+ and we went for the dunno-what show. and they were intro-ing all these animals. but it was funny. cause hard to image they can train a sea lion to turn away and put his fins over his eyes...

then went for the elephant show. which wasn't as interesting but also kinda funny cause of the elephant trainer's english..

then we left. and my dad initially wanted to turn right and go out the other way when i INSISTED we go back out the way we came. [cause i wanted to look at the chart of elephants the zoo had that i had meerly glimpsed at while passing by] so we walked. and then on the way out. we saw this small girl crying at the side.

first thought struck me *she's lost*
second thought struck me *oh shit my parents saw her*

ok so my mom was like asking her if she was lost and where her mumma went [in chi] and she just continued crying then sort of grabbed on to my mom and cried somemore.

so we were thinking of what to do. like bring her to the info counter? and we stood there for god-knows-how-long and i suggested we bring her back to the elephant place and see what they can do about it.

on the way back we say this woman who was not really frantic but in search of someone and yes! it was her mumma. so she

was like 'yeah yeah i was looking for her over the other side!' [as in the mumma.] and yadda yadda. came her maid and son. which i saw just now over in the middle the maid was feeding the son. [who is by the looks of it younger than the daughter]

so gablah. we walked around and then came across the girl who got lost and her mumma again. but the girl was like as if nothing had happened. just as happy. and with no recollection of us at all. [must've been too preoccupied with crying just now.]

blah blah. my fav animals. must be the white tigers. there are simply. the nicest ones. i love them.

-white tiger's are all bengal, all having descended from a tiger named mohan [sheryl: i told you it was mo smtg! =] mohan was found in 1951 in india and died when he was around 20.
-all these tigers, have either blue or green eyes. [which i think are damn chio!]
-what more. one out of ten thousand tigers are white.
-the singapore zoo has three white tigers all born on 27 sep 1999 [means they're 7] in indonesia.
-they are omar, winnie and jippie.

they are nice!!! loveable!!!

then over the kangaroo part, where i was being all over-paranoid saying the emu was about to charge. [cause no fences]

-kangaroos can go over 13feet [ithink] in one leap. i can only do 167cm...
-the only tasmanian tiger left died in1933. if only they had kept cells for cloning... wonder if they can extract from bones...

well then went amk to eat jacks.. which is nice.

then yadda.
talked to sheryl on phone for damn long. and i'm supposed to tell her bout the weird dream i had. which i'm not too sure of myself.

then early morn. round 1 sent my bro to the airport. i didn't go. and round 2+ my parents got home just as i was going to bed.

woke up at 3 and watched the match.
watched through first half with eyes half open.
then second half just listened to sounds.
was woken up by my dad screaming 'GOAL!' and watched to replay of the goal
then he screamed 'OWN GOAL!' and i watched the replay of the own goal. stayed awake after that and went crazy screaming 'nono! other way!!!!! go go!!'

so we have our results.
germany 3 portugal 1! and it's germany who's third in the 2006 fifa soccer world cup!
